I was back home visiting my folks this past weekend and hit up my favorite Goodwill.

Two pair Patagonia silkweight polypro tights $3 apiece
One set of REI rain pants (like new) $5

I don't even use rain pants but the deal was too good to not jump on.

I keep my eyes open for wearing apparell but cant seem to score on the good stuff like you do. I'm going to pass by deluth at the end of June on my way to the Keweenaw peninsula in MI. I'll hide a something in the area for you to find with a GPS unit. Give you something to do in your free time.

Going on a hike with my daughter. She's in St. Paul area. Going to pick her up and go north to wright MN to visit my cousin, then heading due East to the peninsula to see what their trails are like. Do some searching for native copper and lake superior agates and other minerals(another interest of mine ) Going to do some researh on Ancient Inhabitants of North America. The copper mines in the area were originally mined 6,000-9,000 years ago. They were mined by a very large group of Natives. Lots of copper artifacts are found in the U.S. that are believed to have come from the copper mined in the UP. I found a 5 pound nodule here in IL that may have been brought by the glaciers or by the Natives from the UP. It was a popular trade item throughout the upper states. The copper found in the UP is 95 percent pure right out of the ground. The mining industry dried up and just the ghost towns are left.

I'll let you know when to start looking for the cache I think the gps technology is fantastic!!!!!

That is one massive mineral. It's amazing to try and think of what was going on 5 and 10 thousand years ago. What life would have been like. We think places are rugged now - - imagine then!

Take a look at this 17 ton chunk of copper they found offshore of the peninsula.
