Any photos you have of your adventures please post. It's great to see where others have hiked.

I just placed my deposit on a Jensen. How about some pack shots to show us some details of RMV's work?

I'll take some close-up photos as I start packing for my trip and post them here. I don't happen to have any at this point.

I remember the commercial where a guy gets a call from a telemarketer on saturday morning. Still in his pajamas and robe, he leaves his house, gets on a bus, goes downtown, into a high-rise office building then the elevator (still on the phone), walks through a sea of cubicles then stops at a guy talking on the phone. He picks up the phone off the guys desk an procedes to destroy it!

I wish it were that easy...except I'd substitute the telemarketers phone for the "spammers" head!
If only it were that easy!

50 percent of the time we're able to delete the spammers before they make a post. Most of them live in China and there abouts. We have our share in the states also.

From the Urban Dictionary

"1. Gear Porn - Pictures, videos or stories of exotic, exclusive, vintage, expensive, special, unique or just weird musical instruments or other equipment (= gear), most often old modular analog synthesizers, that musically oriented people, not necessary musicians, drool over regardless if they can actually play the damn thing or not. " (i.e. Rivendell Mountain Packs - I will drool even if I don't know how to pack the damn thing)

P.S. Hint to justmeagain.......post some porn!!!!!!

Well you asked for it, so here is the pack porn.
Original review in Backpacker magazine, 1973 if my horrible memory serves me well. I've since found additional reviews (similar praise) in back issues of Outside and Mariah magazines.

Now for the grand finale, Rivendell also made tents.

That's all I've got for now. When I get back from next month's backpacking trip I'll post some shots of the trip and I should have some action shots of the pack. I hope I didn't get everyone in too much of a lather with the photos.
