AlwaysHiking has been busy

Postby zelph » Mon Oct 27, 2008 2:02 pm

AlwaysHiking(Amy) has been busy with two new websites. AlwaysHiking uses the Fancee Feest stove as her favorite.

She was recently awarded the new name of "Tiny Heiney" Sign up at her site and ask her why the new name

If you live and hike in her area pay her a visit. Join her group, meet new people and have fun.

Her's what members are saying about MidAtlanticBackpackers.com

“ cool people, cools stuff, cool beans : ) ”

— Anonymous Meetup Group member (Jul 6, 2008)
“ This group is fun, even wacky at times, but gets a serious move on when it comes to comin' round the mountain. ”

— Anonymous Meetup Group member (Jun 22, 2008)
“ Because watching TV is B-O-R-I-N-G, and getting out with others to go hiking is a great way to keep in shape. Carrying an Oxygen tank when you going to visit the grandkids 40 years from now doesn't sound like fun to me. ”

— Anonymous Meetup Group member (Jun 8, 2008)
“ Lots of experienced backpackers who know and love the area. ”

— Anonymous Meetup Group member (May 26, 2008)
“ Amy is a patient, organized, and prepared backpacker with 12 years of experience. Whether a newbie or grizzled veteran, Amy offers something to every backpacker. Her enthusiasm for the outdoors is contagious. She is a lightweight backpacker with good orienteering skills. ”

— Anonymous Meetup Group member (Apr 4, 2008)
“ Learned about lots of new gear and went to an amazing location that I probably wouldn't have gone to otherwise. ”

“ This group is the best! ”

— Anonymous Meetup Group member (Oct 5, 2008)
“ Because the meetup group has the best backpackers. ”

— Anonymous Meetup Group member (Oct 4, 2008)
“ If you like to backpack, meet great people, get good exercise, and have a wonderful time, then you should join. ”

— Anonymous Meetup Group member (Sep 22, 2008)
“ This group is only the coolest in the universe, EVER. ”

— Anonymous Meetup Group member (Aug 4, 2008)
“ This is a great group of people who share an insane love of the outdoors and a passion for pushing themselves to their limits. Great camaraderie!! ”

— Anonymous Meetup Group member (Aug 3, 2008)
“ This is a great meetup. Amy and Jeff are good trip organizers - very detail oriented. Amy has years of experience and an easy going personality that makes the hikes enjoyable. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable in the central to southern mountain areas of Virginia. If you want to learn about wildflowers, Jeff and Margie are the people to hike with. I've been on 2 meetups so far and they have both been good experiences. ”

“ A fantastic group of hikers! Skill levels from the freshest newbie to the ripest, stinkiest mountain man and everything in between. It's a blast getting out into the woods together and experiencing new sights and terrain. Good hiking, everyone! ”
