This photo was taken in Sept 2006 on the CT/CDT just before Turquoise Lake.

Winter came early last year, but you can see the remnants of Autumn.

This photo is one of my favorites from last year. My friends loved it as well. They loved it enough where I printed out the photo and had it framed and matted as part of their wedding gift. :)

It's really nice how the leaves and snow brighten the trail. Lots of different textures, smooth aspen trunk, speckled aspen leaves on the trail, the evergreens in the background. Very nice!!!
