Battery Charger

Post by zelph » Mon Sep 22, 2008 2:20 pm

Emergency cell phone re-charger for your emergency cell phone!

This flashlight is recharged through pulling a cord. The pulling dynamo
system is 50% more efficient than the traditional cranking dynamo
system. The pull string was tested at 100,000 pulls without breaking.
It is a very bright 5 LED flashlight which can run for
50,000 hours without ever fading in brightness.
The pulling system charges both flashlight and cell phone battery.
Nokia phones can plug directly in. Other batteries types are simply
placed on the charging plate. When the flashlight is pulled, the
light will come on notifying the user that the cell phone battery is
being charged. Other flashlights claiming to charge cell phones
only have a select number of compatible charging cords.

I'm inclined to get one as an emergency flashlight. :D

I believe the link you gave us was to a flashdrive not a flashlight.

Hi Zelph,

Thanks for the information, I will have to get one as I have been thinking about making a dynamo charger for my GPS.

Too much smoke is right!!!! all that smoke from a small can of clothes pins. Who woulda thunk it!!!!!!

Tony, I use my GPS alot, handy item, hi tech way to find your way home. I use mine to relocate plants and artifact sites. It's amazing how easy it is to loose your way in a dense forested area. You can go off trail 20 feet and have a difficult time getting back to the trail again if you don't pay close attention to where you've been walking. I've lost my way many times and needed to get reoriented by the location of the sun. My solar compass :D
