GOBBLE-GOBBLE I also like to wish you all a Joyous Thanksgiving and hope you get to spend time with with relatives and friends. ;) Last year was the first time I boiled the turkey skeleton down and made turkey noodle soup. OMG...Awesome. If your cooking the bird, you should give it a try. Boil it down, pick out all the meat, discard skeleton and sift out bones, fat, etc.. You will be surprised at how much meat was still on that bird. Add some chicken or turkey broth to the remaining water along with a diced onion, celery, carrots, and some bay leaves. Add your extra wide noodles and bring to a boil. Add your turkey pieces back in and i always put a liberal amount of coarse black pepper in it. I'll never discard a turkey skeleton again without making TNSoup. :D
