Soon to become extinct

Post by zelph » Thu Nov 29, 2007 12:50 pm

Many, many times I read on the backpacing forums how three rocks of the right size can't be found to support their pot if they were to use wood for fuel. It's sad to see how commercial we have become. How new equipment and Urban legends change our ways.

I had the thought to scribe a line drawing of the pot support shown in the attached photo on the walls of our modern rock shelters for future archeologists to find.

I also had the thought that the major fast food guys will have mobile food vans at all major trail/road crossings by spring of next year. Serving from 11:00am to 2:oopm
