It is so Hot!!!

Post by zelph » Tue Jul 19, 2011 10:20 pm

The weather was dreadfully hot while camping. It was so hot I made my oatmeal breakfast with cold water

The last 2 days have topped the 100 degree mark here in Illinois. Had to come home early from my family camp-out

It is so hot...........Smokey the Bear took his hat off.

How hot has it been in your neck of the woods?

It's been so hot here that...No it hasn't! ..The weather has barely reached 70 on very few days and I don't think it's broken 80 yet this year.I don't think the high country is even going to melt off this year for hiking...

Very hot and high dew points. I'm waiting for fall.

95 in the shade  and the heat index feels like 110. I can't even enjoy riding the motorcycle except on the way to work when the temps are in the low 70's  It is supposed to be 98 tomorrow. I'm surte glad I don't live in the desert. :)

I was wrong..the wife read in the paper that Seattle officially has had 78 minutes over 80 degrees this year..10 miles north of us they haven't even hit 80 yet;so we may be in the same boat as up north.I've been spending a lot of time in the shop..so it really doesn't matter...

It is a choice of two evils. The compressor locked up on my commuter car so the bike offers total breeze as opposed to a baked interior with no wing vents. I think I would welcome riding in a downpour right now :o
