Found a better option for filling the Super Stove!

Post by JBRanger » Thu Aug 18, 2011 2:03 pm

So, I really like my SS. However, I ALWAYS spill some on my hands when filling it. It just happens. So, today I went to my local Publix and asked the pharmacy if they had any small syringes. The dude handed me one and said have a nice day! So, FREE! WOOT!

It's a 1 TSP model so its small and really lightweight. 6 TSP = 1 ounce, and 3 for 1/2 ounce. I will test it out this week and let ya know how it works. I think this may be a better option than the measuring cup. :DP: :DP:

That should work well :D
This week I saw a squeeze container of grease at the local Super dollar Store that would be nice as a pinpoint source fuel injector..

I'll see if I can locate a photo of one.

Free is good!!! :DB: :DP:

I found one to show what I'm talking about. They cost a buck at the dollar store. squeeze the grease out and then suck in some wd-40 or low odor paint thinner a few times to rinse it out and then a few rinses with denatured or heet should get you in buisness. The ridges should make an accurate way to measure the fuel.
