Be kind to the goats

Realityguy can relate to this video in some ways.

Watch the goat kick the backpack. Someone will soon market a "goat bag" to protect their edibles

I wonder if some of the hikers up your way feed the goats just as people in yellowstone feed the bears. They don't get what they want so they take it by force. Something to think about.

That's the biggest problem..dumb people feeding wild animals.Goats get accustomed to getting the salt/goodies from people in the form of handouts. When they get too aggressive, they have to be put down or people get ousted from the trails. The latter usually is the most used option. The parks can't blame the animals and would rather shut down areas from use(They do..)..then rangers have to use rubber bullets and paintballs to "retrain" the goats(or bears) that people aren't the handout they used to be.
One person feeds them..then the next person is the victim because they won't or didn't.Usually the people that are "punished" weren't the problem ones unless they got caught in the act.Personally people that do feed the critters should be ousted from the park immediately and on a permanent basis...especially the frogs.. :o
Bob Boardman reported "aggressive goats" on his favorite trail several times..It didn't do him a whole lot of good, did it?!
