I bought 3 oil cans about 2 years ago to use as the body of a coil stove. Someone needs to take the idea and run with it. I don't see me having the time in the near future. I can't even find the oil cans

You read my mind. I was thinking about if I could somehow convert this P.O.S. to run on white gas.

Most coil burners DO run on white gas. What fuel is yours intended to run on?

Here is a video from a guy I think is in Japan. It's a very high quality DIY coil stove with a matching windscreen and custom pot with heat exchanger. Looks like he has access to a lathe and maybe even a milling machine. Really nice work.
Rub it in Oops. I was a whisker away from snatching a Dickson stove on eBay a couple years ago but got sniped at the last second. It didn't take long to learn how to snipe but the rare stoves come up so seldom and now everyone keeps an eye out for them and they go for a pretty penny compared to five years ago. Sad to say but with today's prices, I have lost the passion of the hunt you have a nice collection, Oops.
