The DIY stove makers have come to a crawl. Not many out there coming up with new ideas. :o
You could take a look at http://www.appalachiantrailcafe.net/coo ... ?start=360 where BirdBrain is making a CHS with side jets from Bud Light bottles. I have been posting over there as well, mostly variants of the Super-cat and CHS-U, but my Pushbutton stove is fairly unique.

Glad that there are still some folks out there tinkering. Thinking over there seems to be in the fast lane. White Box Stoves and variations of it. Bill Balowe will be proud to know variations of his design lives on :D

I thought your comment was appropriate:
Glad you avoided the flaming alcohol percolator from hell scenario. One stove maker achieved infamy by shipping similar stoves without the pressure equalization holes, and then blaming the resulting fireballs on "bad fuel", supposedly older fuel that had absorbed water.

Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it. It is much better to learn from the mistakes of others
Even I learned from tinny's(minibulldesign) mistake :D

Wish I had more time to design. Mfg'ing has me bogged down.
