starlite separated?

Post by dman » Mon Jul 07, 2014 9:25 pm

So I went to use my starlite last weekend and found that the two halves have come apart. Is there a special glue used to re connect the two?

super glue original formula.

Did you burn gasoline in it or some other "not recommended" fuel?

What is your best guess for the reason it came apart?

Can you post a photo of it?

Thanks Dan, glad it will be easy to put back together. I have only used Everclear and Heat in both my starlite and my fancyfeast stoves, the starlite seems to have little residue of the original superglue from the original assembly, I'll glue it back together today and give it another go this weekend.

If it doesn't go back together satisfactorily, I'll send you a new one.
