Hello Dan and rest of the bp gang.
I just finished my SHT thru hike and just got back to sunny ol florida lol.
Back to working on burner projects and lurking the forum.
If anyone is interested in gear I used or any anything else concerning this trail please feel free to let me know and ill send A detailed list.
As for cook system I used A 10 cm batchstovez pot with lid and A zelph fancee feest stove with A diy pot coozy and A 12 ounce coke bottle filled with heet.
:D everything worked great....

Looks like a great trail. Congratulations on finishing it up.
Did you have food mail drops or hit towns for food? Ill bet it is nice up there this time of year.

I did do two mail drops that were completely unnecessary as I seen it was very easy to resupply in towns along the way.
I would suggest A resupply in grand marais, tofte, silver bay/beaver bay,and possibly two harbors if you cannot pack enough to get through.
I found the holiday gas stations along the trail stay very stocked up on hiker type food at good prices .
Although the towns are pretty expensive for hotel type stays and restaurants ...
Weather was amazing.

Glad you made it back safe and sound. Having great weather goes along way in making an awesome trip. Did you use a tent, tarp, hammock or other?

Hey ridge runner I posted yesterday and for some reason it didn't show up...
Maybe I accidentally saved it in my saved folded.
I used A six moons designs deshutes plus sil nylon shelter with polycryo ground sheet.
I am switching it up to A zpacks hexamid plus cuben tarp in my next rotation,
The SMD shelter did amazing job of keeping me dry I am just trying to shave A few ounces and avoid the stretch factor of sil nylon.

Dan I really like the polycryo...
It is light and tough IMO.
It held up the entire thru hike and is still going fine for more hikes.
So no complaints and not planning on switching it up...
On shorter hikes when I bring my doggie I might opt for A tyvek ground sheet just because of his paws and nails.
But other than that poly will stay in my kit.

Yeah I stocked up on it when I found it on amazon for 4.00 A piece.
I think it is about 7.00 now on there.

This is what I used.

Does it become static charged easily when unrolling for next use? Thanks for the link. I'll see if the local wallyworld has a large kit.
