Cooling Bandanas

Post by zelph » Fri Jun 13, 2008 3:00 pm

Does anyone have experience with "cooling bandanas?" The ones I've read about are described as having cooling crystals encased in cotton fabric that absorb water and "will keep you cool for hours."so they say ;) They say you put it in cool water and it will work for hours. As opposed to the ones you have to put in freezer. I'm not sure how many different types there are other than the ones for the freezer and the ones with crystals. Are these things for real???? Anybody seen any feedback from users?

I have one of the bandanas I picked up on a clip strip in the sporting goods section at WallyWorld. Yes, it does work.. Over time, it gets a slick/slimy feel to it but it works for hours. ;)
