Just sayin hello. I'm new to the forum, but not new to hiking light. Completed the AT in 1999 starting with a 45 lb pack, was down to 25 when I summited Katahdin. I wouls love to find out where I can get one of the SS StarLyte UltraLytes! Let me know!

That is quite an accomplishment, congratulations!!!!

45 down to 25, that's sweet!!! Carrying 45 can get old real fast :D What are some of the things that were eliminated?

We're glad to have here and look forward to hearing some of your experiences while on the AT. Start with a funny one, maybe one bananas worth :mrgreen:
