Hello Marko and welcome to our little place on the world wide web. :D I love how the internet brings people together that share the same interests. I've been to sweden and Norway but was not able to visit Finland. You sure do have some beautiful places to hike and enjoy nature at it's best.

Thanks. I'm newbie on the lightweight stuff, but I have been seeking info of (alcohol) stoves and other stuff. Seems like I have found the right place. :DB:

Welcome marko !!! Enjoy your visit thru our site. Feel free to comment or add to our site. It's always interesting to get peoples perspective from across the world. I wonder if the Finland military uses any kind of specific backpacking stove?

I was at small unit and we used Trangias, but there might be other stoves too. Here is some info of Finnish Army in English : http://www.mil.fi/english/

There are some forums, but not in english. The one You pointed out is the only one I know, and actually this is the first time I hear of it. This one is propably the most popular Finnish forum:
