Hi ,Good site.I saw the information about it on the Whiteblaze site .I guess I might be your first from England.I spent 10 weeks on The AT in 2005 and am planning to do the John Muir Trail next year and some more of the AT.Here in the UK light weight camping is in its infancy, though word is spreading .Clearly there are less long trails here in our small country so people still seem to be prepared to lug big packs.Right now I am looking to learn about making cone stoves or similar which can take a small wood fire if resupply is difficult.

Welcome to bpLite.com!

Zelph and Skidsteer are definitely the right people to ask concerning how to make stoves.

I'm more of hack job specialist. ;-)

Making stoves can be addictive!

The JMT is perhaps the most scenic hike you can do mile-for-mile. You'll have a blast!
