new member just wanted to say hi love the site have gotten many great ideas from all of you thanks

just picked up this lid at a thrift store for my snow peak 1400

Don't you just love those thrift stores, we spend a lot of time in them looking for goodies. RealityGuy up in the Seattle area finds some really really nice stuff in the ones he visits.

These have quite a history and not as old as they look.In the late 50s a guy setup a factory to build "industrial strength Angeles tricycles"..for nursery schools and commercial places of business.2 of these came in yesterday..I got the larger one..all steel and hard rubber tires..still in one piece after probably 60 years of "child abuse".. :mrgreen:

Industrial strength paid off for the consumer :D unfortunate for him they were too well built and he went out of buisness for lack of return sales :mrgreen:

I think you mean RG..I..,but you'll get your hands full of people from here moving down there with Boeing there..be prepared for prices going skyhigh,house values going skyhigh,strikes in 6 months that drop all that back down the toilet! :lol:

thank you for pointing out the mistake, i fixed it. :D

there plant is going to be a long ways away from here so it really shouldnt effect me at all. but i will be putting in for a job there.
