Interesting blog bmike. Nice SUV :) There is a guy in my neighborhood that has a homemade one that has two wheels in front and one in back What does the steering mechanism look like, is it 2 cables going from the handle bars to the fork?

thanks. the bakfiets has a steering linkage that runs from the bottom of the steering mast to the front fork. very nicely done. the dutch have been perfecting this thing for a long long time. i've adapted ours a bit to our terrain (not flat here) by changing out the gearing a bit. been able to move 100+ pounds of dog, cat, and people food 10 miles.

I cant spell that word but great now don't teach her to early to ride a bike :lol: :lol:

I'm glad your first was a girl!!!!!!!

Little boys are a pain in the bazoo!!!! :D

Children are fun until they get to an age when they know everything (13) :mrgreen:
