Welcome Yukio :D Glad to have you here. I got started with Pepsi Can Stoves also. Now I'm addicted  Being from Japan, maybe you can tell us about the Borde Bomb stove made in Japan. Is it available in you local hiking stores?

http://store.sakaiya.com/advanced_search_result.php?categories_id=&keywords=borde&inc_subcat=1&search_in_description=1&x=26&y=25

YES, Zelph, I've searched the world looking for a reasonably priced Borde Bomb. I don't read Japanese or know monetary values. Maybe Yukio can tell us something about this stove in Japan. :D

Yukio, you will meet alot of nice and informative people here and lots of good ideas on stoves and cooking. WELCOME ABOARD !!!! ;)

Ridgerunner, 6 months ago I saw a guy selling them on ebay and it seemed as if he had purchased a case of them from somewhere. Maybe old inventory from someone or maybe they are strill available of in some Army-Navy stores in Japan. We never know!!!! Let's ask Yukio!!!

Yukio, are the Borde Bombe stoves still available in Japan?

Dlarson, jump in any time and translate for use if you will please :D

Ridgerunner, show dlarson one or two of oops's fine stoves here on bplite if you can remember where they are ;)
