i haven't seen anything about this so i thought i would mention it. i had one spot on this stove i'm working that was at a less than a 90 deg angle and didnt want to put too much jb weld on it so i cut a ziplock bag in half diagonally and clipped a small hole in the cornner. then i mixed the jbweld in the bag and used it like a cake decorating bag. this allowed me to put as little or as much as i wanted where i wanted it and it forced it into the joint so i know it made a good seal.

i didn't know you this was something you used but i thought i would bring it up anyway.

p.s. i did also use the trick with the slot head screw to roll the edge and it worked great i think that sealed the top up perfectly so thanks for that one.

Great idea about the mini cake decorating bag. I'll try that tomorrow when I do a JB weld. A thought: mix the jb in a throwaway plastic spoon, then use the spoon to put it into the corner of the modified ziplock, use your thumb on the outside of the bag to squish the jb off the spoon into the bag. Pitch the spoon :D

Wow, you really used the slotted screw roll!!!!!????? Thanks, that makes me feel goooood, knowing that some these things that I put here are used. Thanks for sharing that :D

I tried your Z-Roll technique a while back and it worked quite well.
