my entry for MARCH stove of the month

Postby rigidpsycho » Sat Mar 07, 2009 2:45 pm

My March Entry is my DIY Brasslite. I just completed the test boils. I got 2 cups of tap water almost to a rolling boil in 9 minutes with 3/4 oz. of denatured alcohol and it burned out at 10 minutes. With the base that I have on it it nest upside down perfectlt inside my Heine pot. Here are the pictures from my previous post of when I actually finished the stove http://www.hammockforums.net/gallery/sh ... geuser=462 and http://www.hammockforums.net/gallery/sh ... geuser=462

Your time and fuel usage look good.

Is the potstand attached and how long does it take to get it to burn full blast?

How much does it weigh?

Give us a link to the thread so we can read more about the stove.
