I want to vote for RR's GI JOE Kettle but I want to see how the JB Weld holds up. A few more tests please. ;)

The kettle has about 15 burns under its belt. Unlike thin metal soda cans, I have put a heavy bead of the JB-Weld around the entrance and exit holes. I have yet to have the JR-Weld fail me(knock on wood) . Oops suggest that it will not hold up when alcohol is stored in a stove constructed with it. The GI R2 Kettle only stores water. I will push the envelope and do a test using a wood burner today as Zelph has his doubts on that scenario. The aluminum is thick enough for thoe who have the ability and tools to weld the bottle in place. I have neither, so jB-Weld it is.
Since Zelph said this might be my best stove ever, I guess I will homer on this one and vote for the GI R2 Kettle/ SGT. York Stove.

Because the companion plus stove failed to destroy the GI Joe stove I bring my vote back to Ridgerunner.

On second thought I split my vote - 1/2 for Daren and 1/2 for Ridgerunner. :D

Voting will continue on through today until midnight.
