Aluminum Foil for windscreens

Post by zelph » Sat Jul 26, 2008 9:36 pm

Anybody know where to purchase bulk aluminum material to make windscreens like the kind you see commercial stove makers using for screens that are included with their stoves. An example is the one shipped with the WBS stove. I'll be back with a photo.

down the page a bit is aluminum. it is the same thickness as the windscreen material that MSR uses. some years ago i had some of the copper stuff. fun to play with.

Here's the tooling foil I use now for my Pyramid windscreens:

It works great because you can bend it and rebend it over and over without it splitting like oven liner.
