steam whistle?

here's what's going on at the lab:
i thought i would try and incorporate a whistle into a pot lid knob/button. the wide flat configuration of a teapot whistle seemed best suited to what i was trying to achieve. no success so far, but the whistle project gave me another idea for a different canister burner head.

this seems to be a never ending cycle. the fun thing is that is usually eventually leads back to the original project. fun fun fun! :DB:
