So I got some time to try the Jasco paint stripper to remove the liner and it worked good so I will boil some water in it few times to make sure it is good and clean before I use it.

When I am all done I will snap a pic or two and post it



Oh yeah it did take two treatments to get it clean and a good tooth brush to help scrub off the liner.

I like experimentors Does it remove the coating on the outside of the can also. I'm still waiting foer someone to come up with a product to remove the ink on the outside. Not abrasive

You know I did not try but if not and you don't want to sand it use a cotton buffing wheel before you open it

I personally like the graphics but many times I see people wanting to make them solid alum looking.

My well water is "HARD" It coats and seals the walls of the pots quickly. It's like having "Stucco" lined pots

An anodized version would be pretty cool in say tacticool green, lol!

I like the "Kelly" emerald green in Hard Anodised.

Why are these pots so popular? Their shape?

It can't be because they are so light weight because so many wrap them with heavy fiberglass insulation so they can pick them up.

Oops, did you ever check the outside temperature of a fiberglass wrapped pot at the time the water inside of it started to boil? It would be good to know at this point. Or is there anyone else that has a hand held infra red temperature reading gun/devise?
