What I'm trying to get from you Oops, is the blue tin a factory made storage container for a specific stove or is it something you picked up at a lawn sale?

Gotcha ! I couldn't make out the lettering on my screen with its resolution settings. I like vintage stoves that came in tins. Yard sale tins work just as well to keep the elements off the stove. Good find. ;)

Did You say that it uses 'Coleman" fuel?

I was under the impression that the Borde was an Alcohol stove.
I think I'm gonna cry :(

I think I remember reading that the Borde will burn lots of different fuels... just not alcohol.
