Give results of stoves tested. At least three test burns made in succession using 1/2 ounce of denatured alcohol and 2 cups of water. Give any and all additional conditions that exist during testing.
Stoves bought retail and Do-It-Yourself stoves. Everyone is welcome to post their results and post comments.

In the interest of scienstovetology, one perfectly good trangia stove bites the dust.

Hope it was the military one.

Other than in a trangia stove, where does one find that wicking material, Zelph

It grows wild on the fjords in Sweden.

Thank you Daren.
Another question. Is there a photo anywhere of the simmer device in place(without flame) to show how it relates to position of jet holes etc.? If not would you be kind enough to provide one for us ? Thank You

That's great oops. I can see how covers the holes and even extends above the rim somewhat. That gives me a clear picture of how it's working. Your lights are working great, lots of light. Thanks Oops.

Oops, that is in a private forum for supreme stovies. You'll have to get your hacksaw out and start cutting
Arm chair stovies that have their designs farmed out to someone else to make, miss out on some good stuff.
