They do exist. I had a snow turkey come into my yard once :o

I saw thaose pics a year or so back. It is neat how the albino gene shows up once in a great while and even neater when we get the opportunity to see the animals with this trait. Generally, they are inferior to the normal gened animal. Zelph, are you sure that was not a "tamed domestic" turkey in your back yard? :lol: There are wild albino turkeys and you might see cross-breeds betrween wild and domestic. Love has no barrier! :lol:

:o I never had the chance to find that out....I suspect it was........... :lol:

There is athread here somewhere that mentions a town in Illinois that has white squirrels. Not just a couple.....a lot!!!

Actually those are not albino moose. Their eyes aren't pink. There are a couple of areas in the US and Canada where this recessive white gene circulates through the herds. A google on "White moose" yields the beta.

Both varieties are nice to see for a change. I wonder if there are some light chocolate colored ones where the white varieties roam, their offspring.
