Back in "66" when I was in Norway we were told they had the highest suicide rate in the world due to low levels of sunshine. Alcoholism was a contributing factor ;) Alcohol costs were sky high and support free medical services.

Land of the midnight sun. That was interesting!!! sun never completely set.

I suppose the guy does these crazy outdoor activities to stay sane

Heros of the Telemark, Hardinger Fiord. Anyone remember that movie? I stayed a few nights in the area where the movie was made. Could see the "heavy water" plant off in the distance.

Beautiful country, breath taking and scary to drive on roads that hang on the sides of fiords. yikes!!!!

That's right, they were very populat during that time. Busses, trucks, most all vehicles. The military got the gasoline.

I'll have to watch it again to see if I can spot one on a different vehicle.
