Sorry for being so slow to update my goings on :o

I have been busy with all kinds of activities.

This past week we were tent camping in Alabama near the small town of Coffeeville in a Army Corps of Engineers campground which is in alligator country with Spanish moss hanging from trees. Temps been in the high 70's and humidity about 99%. It's no wonder the moss grows on the trees. Took 1 day off to drive down to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to take a look see what goes on down there and also to feast on fresh caught shrimp. we stuffed ourselves at "Bosoz" Here is the guy that takes orders, writes down on a white paper bag what you want and writes your name on the bag also. when your order is ready they call your name. Very unique restaurant/fish deli lots of atmosphere. We could see remnant effects of hurricane Katrina. I'll post some photos someday when I get organized

It's been a rude awakening to be back  I got my wood burning stove going in short order. Went to Menards and loaded the trunk with 40 pound bags of wood pellets :D My computer desk is 4 feet from the radiant heat of the stove.....nice and cozy :DBfire:

My brother-in-law had dropped off some nice dry apple tree logs just the right size for the stove to compliment the pellets. Life is good!!!!

Time for another cup of hot chocolate ;) and watch the snow flakes outside the window and then take a nap

Been taking me a while to get situated down here in Mississippi. Same campground, different site and responsibilities. Been hot, burn ban is in place in many counties. Lack of rain has lowered river levels and cause fishing to come to a standstill so says the locals.

Still setting up my site. Erecting a 10x15 shelter to keep me in the shade and keep me dry when it does start to rain. ;)

I'll post some photos when site is et up.
