match case

Post by irrationalsolutions » Sat Aug 07, 2010 3:58 pm

i have been doing some testing at home and came up with a new waterproof match case for myself. its a red bull energy shot bottle with some teflon tape on the threads. its seems to hold about 60 matches and i also put some natural cord (i had hemp cord on hand) on top of them to both keep the strike anywhere matches from moving around too much and to have some dry tender if needed.

Sounds like a good container to keep them in. Nice find. I've got to get me another box of strike anywheres. Lots of campfires coming up this fall. I'm working on a nice hunters tent wood stove to keep me toasty, need good strike anywheres to light it. :D
