Well, I must admit that designing a DIY wallet-size "make me a coffee" set looks like a really good idea for a kind of informal competition Lets say the stove, potstand and fuel should fit into 2x3.5x0.5 space and be able to boil 8 oz. of water. How about it? Do you think it be useful on trail?
Coffee or tea makers!I use small stoves like that for day hikes but I think 12oz is a better amount of water for the boil,8 just isn't enough for the wife and me.Limiting the size to a certain "cubic inches" might be better because of the bottle needed to hold the fuel and make other options for the actual stove available. My small kodak jets will fit a shirt pocket along with a bottle of fuel,,but are about 1" across. We can get nice small "hand sanitizer bottles about 5/8""x1-1/2"x1 that take up half your allowed stove area..and would even fit another pocket.I'd have to look for smaller square bottles to take up less space.
