Hi there oops!!! You cut the top off a hip flask and insert the stove into the flask and put it in your hip pocket
You could get fancy and do it my way

Thats a good one oops. Is that a U.S.A made flask and cup? Some of the earlier made stoves were the best. Those last two were cool. Thanks for the video of them. I could just picture a stagecoach stopping along the trail for a cuppa tea break. All the passengers taking out their personal tea stoves, heating water, taking out the little flask of brandy, some for the stove and a little slug or two for medicinal purposes

Dan..You can just drill a small center hole in the lid of an aluminum larger mouthed bottle for the mount of the plate for the whistler..another hole over the reed portion and just mount the 'whistler on a miller lite bottle lid or any flat portion of potlid for that matter..just takes the metal plate and reed..
the plastic cap doesn't need to be used but probably looks cooler...a small nut is sufficient on top and probably 1/4" hole over the reed portion of the plate.I scraped off the inner plastic under the metal plate for more air space but left the perimeter to seal the bottle..screw the plate on lightly and test it by blowing through from the bottom.I don't have the "pour" convenience but it still works..My sound isn't working right now..camera or computer..I don't know..??

Yes,
but, mine is cool

because it has the pour feature
You'd better have a thick glove on when you try to take off that steaming cap.......you'll get a good steam burn for sure.
Hope nothing clogs the hole, pressure will build up.....what's going to blow first
