Backcountry kayak/canoe camping
Re: Backcountry kayak/canoe camping
Thanks for the spice offer. I'm going to their site and see what flavors they have. I'm not to keen on hot peppers, mild is ok

I would recommend the gator sprinkle as it is more of A dry spice and mild in heat. Thanks for the spice offer. I'm going to their site and see what flavors they have. I'm not to keen on hot peppers, mild is ok
But they do offer many varieties of spices and etc. I like the cooter rub liquid marinade as well.
Gator rub for A dry rub has A little heat to it but all in all is pretty mild as well.

Nice photos, thank you! Makes me want to get out and do some fishing now that the storms have past through. Got to clean off my canoe and get her ready for it's maiden voyage. Had it for a few years but too busy to cast off

WOah nice canoe Dan.
Looks like its all wood.
Very nice find.
I had an all cedar canoe at one time years ago and loved the thing.
Will make A very nice fishing canoe or A weekend getaway canoe for some great back country trips.
I myself love getting out there and finding spots that are remote and peaceful

It's mostly fiberglass with wood flooring inserts. Can't wait to get it into the water. I put the trolling motor battery on charge yesterday to keep it topped off.
Did you catch any fish?

I have been fishing around here since I was A kid(long ago lol) and it is all pretty shallow water, and I know the structure and depending on the weather the fish holding habits for these parts of the country.Do you use electronics to find structure or just troll around and hope for the best?
Today was A no catch day lol, couldn't seem to find any and fished all the normal spots but the barometer has been screwy here the last few weeks.
And yes them alligators and unfortunately it is the same if A bear attacks someone they will most likely kill every garor in that area

Poor Orlando is having A horrible couple of weeks , will most likely affect tourism there in recent months to.
Re: Backcountry kayak/canoe camping
I stopped watching the news, so sad about what's happening in Orlando
A bad day of fishing is better than a day at work.
Way back when...........my first electronics was the Lowrance Fish Locator aka Green Box.
