I made a 1/2 ounce wood/alcohol burner today. Tested it with alcohol, works great, will test with vertical stacked wood tomorrow and will have photo or two.
1/2 ounce, made of stainless steel. Captain Paranoia will be proud

Here is the 1/2 ounce "Woodgaz Stove"

I was able to boil 2 cups water beginning water temp 80 degrees. No time was recorded. Just in a testing mode.
Made of stainless steel with high titanium conten to withstand high temps up to 2400 degrees.

It's a one piece stove. Fits inside my 600ml ti pot( got it as a gift, I don't buy TiRidgerunner wrote:How man pieces to the puzzle? Does it hold together securely?

The corrugations is what gives it great strength, downward pressure. I have a large block of steel that I put on the top of it for a test and it supported it with no problem. It will surely hold a gallon size pot of water. This little stove is surely a "minimalist" piece of equipment. My goal is to burn ten loads and then test it under the "block" (steel)
The steel is hard to punch holes into and easy to cut with scissors.
I like the color change that it goes through after being super heated.

Yes, it can be unrolled. The taller 3/8" folds remain rigid, not to me undone. Think Caldera Cone. Remember the modified Starlyte burner made for confined spaces as in ZMart Cook Kit. The burner really works well in this small wood burner. It will also handle solid fuel Esbit tabs. Tomorrow I'll use the steel block to test it's strength after being heated repeatedly.
