I will just have to keep the MK1-UL.
Put it in a tyvek envelope and get it on it's way

It would be nice to share, I won't keep it long

I hope he makes more. This is a good backpacking wood stove.
In addition, it packs flat and fits into a cloth bag.
Very nice.

Can you give us a close up photo of the sliding joint so we can see how it's made?

Hey, everyone... Been lurking right along but been too busy to post... Found the following image that shows the corner joints rather well...
Hope you don't mind ConnieD...

No, I don't mind.
The stove design belongs to DarenN.
There is a "trick" to putting it together: the corners slide in place, but having the screen inside there just right isn't obvious.

That's nice and close, thanks hplar
Connie, any chance of those rolled lips kinking or is the material thick enough to take some abuse? Same question goes to Daren and hplar:D

I haven't had a problem with it.
The thin material is a little "bendy" and so it seems to distort but not because of heat. This does not affect performance or assembly or disassembly. The joints slide nicely, before heat and after heat.
DarenN did do an initial "burn in" before sending it.
I take care of my stuff. I don't step on it, or like that.
