Looks harmless and cute!!!!
Are they considered plentiful out your way(the marmots, not the women)?

They are harmless..until you turn your back and they grab your food!
The marmots are very common in the high alpine terrain of Colorado.
Women..depends on my appearance on a given day.

We called them "rockhogs", they live in the high lonely places, usually above the timberline. A Marmot will whistle at you as you hike through their territory. Just a high pitched "Shreeet!"
We used to think they were cute, until once in the Cirque of the Towers my climbing buddy had set up his latrine back in a rocky area. One morning as we were having breakfast he noticed the local Marmot climbing up from the pit with shite all over his face!

And what kind of words was the little fellow yelling out to you and your buddy. Let's see what clever sayings can be made up for a bubble mounted over the photo of mr sheet faced marmot
