new stuff sack
i posted a while back that i was looking for a new sleeping bag. well i found one that im still looking at and waiting for it to go on sale. and RG showed me a site that had one similar to it with a better price so i ordered one. the bag is a lafuma warm and light 600 down. the bag is nice but a bit narrow. it packs down really small too. actually it packs to about the size of a softball. the thing i really like about it is the stuff/compression sack. ive never seen one like it before but i really like it. here is a pic...

Looks like a good idea..continuous cord around the bag to compress everything and only one cord-lock..Makes sense..as long as the grommets hold..time will tell on that.I think if ytyou do most compressing by hand and use the cord only for locking,it should hold up..
What..no picture of you in the bag?

It's hard for me to imagine a sleeping bag compressing so much. To what desgree is it rated?

The Lafuma Warm and Light 600 down is rated for 40 degrees. How much did you pay for it?

I'll be very interested to hear your comfort report if you use it in 40 degree weather.
