BudLyte Super Stove
Re: BudLyte Super Stove
I just order one of these! I am done with Snowpeaks and moving parts on a backpacking stove. One of these was passed to me in a snow cave in Montana and it saved my butt when my Snow Peak froze up. I'm a believer.

Re: BudLyte Super Stove
Ordered two of the Super Stoves on Feb. 20th they got here in two days. Now that's super shipping. Opened the box (very nicely packaged I might add) and two new shinny red stoves! Fired them both up right away, here are the results:
Test was done inside at 68f in my shop
Used a MSR StowAway 775ml pan
2 cups water at 60f
1oz of Heet
Rolling boil time was 5min 30sec
Total burn time was 9min 45sec
I'm very impressed with this stove! And one will go in my BOB the other in my pack. Thanks Zelph awesome job!!!

Your idea was a good one, worked like a charm. Interesting how ideas become reality. Thank You DaddyMnM. Send me your address and I'll send you out a couple of them. What name should we give it?zelph wrote:Sounds like it should work.....I'll make one and test it and post results.DaddyMnM wrote:I was curious if a die could be made such that it would reverse the folding on this stove. Currently the material folds in on itself. Can it just as easily be folded out? The diameter of the final stove would then be slightly larger increasing pot stability and fuel capacity. But the original graphics would be visible as the bottle would now be inside out
.
Good thinking DaddyMnM
The Super Stove works both ways. Want to buy one with a natural finish or with factory graphics send me a PM

Very nice. I need me one of those. You can never have too many.
I had gotten used to storing my windscreen rolled up with a small bottle of fuel inside the stove. (one of the cool features of the original superstovel) it looks like my tinder holder will fit perfectly in the bottom of the new one though.
fun with nesting

My idea is to call it the "Viper Stove" since there are plans to make from a Venom bottle!
