Winters are horrible with maybe only 1 day of snow per year and it probably drops all the way into the teens about 1-2 days a year.
Otherwise it's a terrible wet 40-60 degrees the rest of the time during the winters,maybe 10% of the time barely below freezing.
In summers it never does get warm and usually stays a boring 65-85 most of the time..unless you want 85-95 and dry on the east side of the state.
Unfortunately we are stuck with rain forest to desert,hiking pretty much year round with or without snow,from mountain peaks to ocean beaches..you wouldn't want that variety to screw up your everyday boring hiking/working schedule,would you?
I guess you could kayak if you get too bored.They say we have the highest per capita "boat ownership" in the world..Gee..I wonder why..I only have 4...and haven't used them in several years..
