Re: Is this a Mega Trangia???
there is a much bigger Trangia type of stove
It is called regal in canada, and Rival in the U.S
it is about 12 inch in diameter and in the Middle
has a Stove made out of Stainless that burns an hour.
it looks like a single burner Gas stove, but is
in fact an alcohol trangia open top.
I have 1 , but am looking for another for a Step van,
/Housecar Conversion i am building
The nice thing is it has a drip pan under the burner.
just in case

Re: Is this a Mega Trangia???
This stove has 2 10" alcohol canisters in it with good flame controls. Iwas able to get one on ebay for 175.00. I use it in my camper instead of propane. Name brand, Origo

I have been looking at the Origo and I was wondering do you add fuel each time? and how do you like the performance?
Re: Is this a Mega Trangia???
I filled once this summer when out on an adventure and it lasted a week of cooking, lots of cooking. I think each canister holds 1 quart of fuel. The performance is great, has great simmer adjustments. I'm not a gram weenie
I like alcohol stoves and wood burning stoves
