SVEA 123
Re: SVEA 123
I don't have anything for making measurements.
I think BPL forum would have participants that do. Hey, maybe zelph?
It does seem, without any internal changes to the stove, that would be the only explanation for less heat output.
It is an add-on, right?
I started the thread, because I am actually interested in the fact it reduces the roar. I am also interested in "at what cost". Is it: More fuel vapor that is not burned?
It would seem, according to your experience, if I understood you, this kind of modification does not bring about excessive odor of unburned fuel.

I was editing my post, and, you are right here.
My concern, about the modification, advertised on eBay, is that it produces excess of unburned fuel vapor.
Perhaps that should be a concern.

Re: SVEA 123
I just got one..
Traded an old VW Bug shifter for it..

Compared to my trusty, beat up Coleman 533

I got it home, shook it around and realized it still had alittle fuel in it.. said "Hmm what the heck.." I watched a Youtube video on how to start it, and tried myself. There was a few moments of concern at first when it started to spit out small fireballs out the top, but it settled down to a nice flame...
