6 mo. of daily use is good milelage I'd say for a tin can. Build a new one with a modification :D Use a German tin can :lol:

Build one out of a stainless steel Ikea kitchen utensil holder. Once in while they can be found in the thrift stores.

A locking lid butter dish...hmmmm must needs be to keep the cats and dogs out while the butter sits on the table 24/7 right?

As I live in my van I keep trying new set ups. This month I am trying the Stanley cup and pot along with my usual cast iron skillet and Swedish mess kit

Now that set-up looks 1st class.

Cast iron is 1st class also...good even heat. :-)

You got good fishing lakes/streams nearby for some good eatin?

What oil are you using for frying?
