Its a center punch to transfer holes tap holes like for a cover. also put in thread hole to transfer to a gasket.

It's the contact of a morse code telegraph key. The slit on top is to allow adjustment with a screwdriver

Same here, I used allen screws with allen wrench inserts cut to lenght and pointed and then bonded them with Bondo
