This stove really worked well for what it's worth. Set your pot on and light it up. Would light easy in minus 30 degree weather for sure.

What was used for the wick? Could you control the size of the flame by pulling the wick in? I've been looking for a way to simmer.

Love it! I was thinking a dedicated simmering stove but the way you did it the alcohol heats up to a boil and the oil keeps it going. I'm going to give this a try.oops56 wrote:here is a stove that i made to simmer the number 2 one shows better
