Has any one mess with this type. My borde works in one. Wood in one dirty. this one is on alcohol the stove just did 16 boil with this stove now put cup on see it flame can reach it more on the type of burner later doing more testing

Nor I Oops. Looked at a few on ebay---waiting for bottom celler price.
They are a little heavy but a interesting piece none the less. Let us know what kind of results you get.

Well i tell you get one i been doing a little testing this morning a small type sterno can fits great.It do a boil in the canteen one and the cup put on tin foil cover both had 16 oz. water cup was a little faster. Only thing got to be done at the top of the front sq. hole cut 2 slots right and left so you can silde a suffer plate to put it out.Also after the sterno is all use up put some houshold insulation in and use it that way with some alcohol. I think that make a good one to keep in the car.

What is supporting the bottle inside the stove? Does the ridge on the cup rest on the top rim of the stove when heating the water?

I was awake and it do post cause came 15 min. later it was there.
